Why? Imagine being worried about things like school, the future, and even the planet – that’s a lot on anyone’s plate! On top of that, social media can make it seem like everyone else has a perfect life (spoiler alert: they don’t!).
So, what can Gen Z do to feel awesome?
- Real-life squad: Friends are super important! Hanging out with people who care about you, playing games, or just listening is a great way to feel happy and supported.
- Talk it out: Bottling up feelings isn’t cool. Whether it’s with a friend, family member, teacher, or counselor, talking about what’s bothering you can be a big relief.
- Unplug and recharge: Taking breaks from phones and screens is important for your brain and mood. Go for a walk, read a book, or draw – do something you enjoy in the real world!
Remember: Everyone needs help sometimes. If you’re feeling down, there are people who care and want to listen. Just reach out!
