Why Insurance Matters

Insurance plays a crucial role in making counseling services accessible to everyone.

By covering a significant portion of the costs, insurance ensures that clients can focus on their mental health and well-being without the added stress of financial burdens. We believe everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, and accepting a wide range of insurances helps us achieve that goal.

INSURANCE FAQS

Q: DOES MY INSURANCE COVER COUNSELING SERVICES?

A: Most insurance plans cover counseling services, but coverage can vary. It’s best to check with your insurance provider to understand your specific benefits.

Q: HOW DO I FILE A CLAIM FOR COUNSELING SERVICES?

A: To file a claim, you typically need to submit a claim form along with an itemized bill from your counseling sessions. Your insurance provider can guide you through the process.

Q: DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO SEE A COUNSELOR?

A: Some insurance plans require a referral from your primary care physician, while others do not. Check with your insurance provider to see if a referral is necessary.

Q: WHAT IF MY INSURANCE DOESN’T COVER COUNSELING?

A: If your insurance doesn’t cover counseling, we offer competitive self-pay rates and can discuss payment plans to make our services accessible to you.

Q: CAN I USE MY HSA OR FSA FOR COUNSELING SERVICES?

A: Yes, you can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for counseling services. Be sure to keep your receipts for reimbursement.

Q: HOW DO I KNOW IF MY COUNSELOR IS IN-NETWORK?

A: You can check with your insurance provider or contact us directly to see if our counselors are in-network with your insurance plan.
